Little Sister Connie

When Dean was around 16yrs he was our babysitter. My sister was around 10yrs and I was 6. We spent lots of days playing boards games. He would change the rules or enhance the games to make them more fun or fair considering the age differences. His favorite games were "Go for Broke" or "Assembly Line". Some days it was piles of shoe boxes and books for epic Slinky stair races.

He also was in charge of making the clues for our Easter egg and basket hunts. He was tough, we worked hard for our candy.

When I think back on it, helping take care of his little sisters was probably the last thing a teenage boy would want to do. But he did pretty good.

Going to miss our long phone calls.

Love you Dean. Your sister who you lovingly nicknamed Constantly Aggravating.

Simply the best

He was the best. The best dad, friend, adventurer. I’ll always cherish the moments we were given and how he was my closest friend before I moved from Chicago, always down to meet to see a movie, grocery shop, grab dinner, walk around borders and talk about what we were reading. Love you dad XOXOXO your favorite and equally eccentric daughter ♥️

Fishing with Dad

Fishing on Father’s Day. Dad loved just sitting back and casting into the water. He taught me how to fish and we were lucky enough to be able to pass that down to our kids too. Hope you’re catching a big one Dad!

Always Dancing

ree

Dad never missed a beat. He taught me to always dance like no one was watching. One of our many dances together but this one meant the most to me. 6/25/09 the day I changed my name. Love you Dad.
