EJ's 10th Birthday
Dean absolutely loved his grandkids—mostly because they kept life interesting. Having Eli and EJ live with him meant nonstop entertainment and a little chaos, which he secretly enjoyed. This video shows the crew celebrating EJ’s 10th birthday at Chili’s, proving that nothing says “party” like bottomless chips, salsa, and margaritas (👀 Wendi apparently she takes the shaker tops). EJ's 10th birthday, Wendi steals margarita toppers.

Young Dean
Unsure when this picture was taken, lots of resemblance to Elijah and Devan when they were kids.

Lily's 1st born, Dad's 2nd Granddaughter
My dad always showed up for the moments that mattered. School plays, cheer competitions, my first half marathon - and LA as I became a mom. Thanks for showing me how to be a present parent and thank you for always being there 💞

Thanksgiving in NYC
Thanksgiving was always a moment we came together. When I was younger it was meeting at the movie theater to watch some action/fantasy/sci-fi release. As we got older it was usually and Wendi’s house, with the exception when Dad, Wendi, and the kids drove to NYC to spend it with us. I’m glad we got one final thanksgiving morning together, and it feels serendipitous that we will continue to celebrate his legacy on that day. Dean, Lily, Evin and Ava Thanksgiving 2016.

Dancing Dean
My dad was always dancing. I remember growing up in roller rinks and barns country line dancing. Later in life it became swing dance. He loved to dance and he loved music. He was always the first and last on the dance floor at every party. Dance has been such a huge part of my and the girls lives and I am grateful that I was able to share that passion with him. I'll miss you on the dance floor dad, but I'll keep the dancing spirit going. Dean and Lily 7.7.17
